It's Week 26 and it marks the return of the prodigal son of value midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson. Gylfi was keeping pace with Cesc Fàbregas in the assists department through 9 weeks, he then hit a lull from weeks 14-17 had a couple of good weeks and then followed that with three bad weeks before a suspension put him on the sidelines. It worked out well for Sigurdsson as he's been able to rest and nurse some of the nagging injuries that have bothered him of late. Hopefully he'll provide some spark to what's become a pretty dull Swansea squad in the wake of the Wilfried Bony sale. Sigurdsson not only has an effect from a playmaker standpoint, he's also a marksmen with his free kicks and set pieces. So welcome back to the rankings Siggy, it's good to have you back.
